ForeclosurePin guide

How to get in, read filters and pin cards, build a route, and download a CSV from the map. Nothing here is a promised extra. Contact is only support@foreclosurepin.com.

How you get in

After a trial or payment, your checkout email is added automatically.

Open https://app.foreclosurepin.com and enter the one-time Cloudflare email code.

There is no separate download portal. Access is the map.

Filters

On a phone, tap Filters. On desktop, the filter bar sits above the map. Labels below are the live control names.

Property status

Location and distance

Tap Near me, allow location, pick a radius. You can also type an address. The map sorts to distance. A Location filter switch turns the distance filter off without changing other filters.

Sale months

Each notice sits in a sale book labeled like SEPTEMBER 2026. Years fold open. All months checks every book (historical listings). None clears them. Passed months show a sale passed tag. Records without a sale date roll into the current map year.

Saved work

My list is a dropdown of lists you created in this browser. + New starts another list. Saved only hides pins that are not on the current list. Export CSV and Delete list sit next to the list picker. Saved searches are a separate control in the same panel.

The header pin count is the number of pins that match every active filter at once. Show gold mine usually jumps the count. Fewer sale months shrinks it.

Gold mine vs sold vs sale months

Pin card fields

Click a pin. The card can show the fields below when we have the data. Empty or “not parsed” means the notice or CAD record did not give us that value.

On the cardWhat it is
AddressProperty address. A note appears if the street came from the CAD parcel or only a legal description exists.
Save to list / SavedAdds or removes this pin from the current My list.
Add to route / DirectionsBuild a multi-stop route, or open directions for this pin.
Sale dateScheduled trustee-sale date from the notice.
DistanceMiles from your Near me start, when location is on.
StatusUpcoming sale, sale date passed, Sold at auction (with the deed note), or gold-mine language in filters.
HistoryPrior postings we already saw, when a timeline exists. Counties delete old notice books; we keep filings we captured.
Prior postingsCount of earlier postings on record.
Occupancy signalsShort label plus detail from homestead and tax-bill mailing match.
Owner mailing addressShown when the tax bill goes somewhere other than the property.
Sale bookBook name, notice number, page.
GrantorsFrom the notice, when parsed.
Original loanPrincipal from the notice, with deed-of-trust date when parsed.
Estimated balance / Estimated equityAmortized estimate vs CAD market value. Labeled as estimates.
Original mortgagee / Instrument #From the notice, when parsed.
CAD rowsAppraisal-district owner and value when the parcel matched.
LinksGoogle Maps, Street View, CAD record, County notice.
Full notice text (OCR)Expandable raw notice text.

Occupancy signals

Two public inputs: homestead exemption codes (HS / DVHS) and whether the owner mailing address matches the property. Labels you may see:

These are hints. They are not proof someone lives there or that the home is empty. Do not treat them as occupancy facts.

Routes

On a pin card, tap Add to route. A Route box lists the stops in order. Open the Google Maps multi-stop link from that box when you are ready to drive. Directions opens directions for that one pin. Near me sets the start when you have allowed location.

Save and download

  1. Click a pin.
  2. Tap Save to list.
  3. Open My list in Filters to review. Use + New if you want a second list.
  4. Tap Export CSV. The file downloads from this browser. Name pattern: list name foreclosure list.csv.

Lists are stored in this browser’s local storage on this device. Switching phones or clearing site data clears the list. There is no separate download portal and no cloud list mailbox.

If nothing is saved, Export CSV tells you nothing saved in this list yet and does not build a useful file.

Export columns people care about

The CSV header row is:

ColumnUse
addressProperty street address.

ownerCAD owner name when matched.
market_valueCAD market value when matched.

owner_mailing_addressTax-bill mailing address when we have it.
statusupcoming sale; sale date passed; filed, never went to auction; or sold at auction.
sale_monthSale book name.
estimated_balance / estimated_equityAmortized estimates. Verify before you bid.

What each plan can download

PlanMapCSV
7-day trialYesNo
Single County ($99/mo)YesNo
Investor Pro ($249/mo)YesYes, 2,500 rows per month
Team / Agency ($599/mo)YesYes (team bulk export)

History, gold mine, and sold layers (where the county has sold matches) are on the map for paid access. CSV is Investor Pro and Team only.

Troubleshooting

No Export CSV button

Wrong plan. Trial and Single County include the map, not CSV. Investor Pro and Team include CSV. Email support@foreclosurepin.com if you paid for Pro or Team and still cannot export.

Empty CSV / “nothing saved in this list yet”

You did not save pins on the current My list, or you are looking at a different list in the dropdown. Click pins, Save to list, then export again.

Email code is not arriving

Check spam and junk for the Cloudflare email code. Request another code from the Access page. Use the same email you used at checkout.

Access page says I am not allowed

Use the same email you used at checkout. If you still cannot get in, write support@foreclosurepin.com with that email.

I expected a download site

There is not one. Lists download from Export CSV on the map after you save pins.
